Fitness Expert
- They need to be able to run around under supervision in a suitable space such as an indoor enclosed space with no other animals except for another gerbil or in an outdoor space with no ways out and no other predators.
- They will need to exercise daily for 30-60 minutes.
- You will need to take it out of its cage but it would be a risk to take it for a walk especially as you don't actually need to.
- Another way of keeping them healthy and fit is to give them a special exercise ball to play with.
